Mollymawk is derived from the Dutch word Mallemok; meaning foolish (malle) gull (mok). The name 17th century sailors gave to the albatross that followed their ships on the journeys to discover Terra Incognita.

max. 18.3 meters, max. 55.8 tons, max. depth diving: 1100 m., max. diving time: up to 90 minutes, food source: giant squid.
The blowhole is positioned sideways to the forehead, due to which a Sperm Whale produces its characteristic blow or spout on a 45 degree angle.
